Our experienced Placement and Employment Services team offers a wide range of recruitment and employer support services to help you reach the right candidates for your roles.

Ways to partner with UWL

  • Advertise your opportunities to UWL students and graduates

    We are continuing to promote a range of vacancies including part-time, placements, internships, and graduate roles. Register and advertise your role for free directly to our students on our Student Hub platform.

  • Recruit a UWL graduate intern

    UWL offers a dedicated Graduate Internship Programme, which supports recent graduates and matches them to recruiting employers around the West-London Region.

    During this process, you will receive end-to-end recruitment support from the UWL Employment Service team.

    Recruiting a graduate intern is subject to set eligibility criteria and approval following completion of an Employer Bid Form.

  • Recruit students on integrated work experience programmes

    If you are interested in recruiting one of our talented students for a set period, our dedicated Placement team can help support your recruitment.

    • Our undergraduate work experiences vary from 30-200 hours
    • Our undergraduate placements / internships vary between 40-50 weeks
    • Our postgraduate internship routes vary from 8-30 weeks.

  • Take part in our industry specific careers fairs

    UWL offers industry-specific career events that are free for employers to attend. These events offer a unique opportunity to meet students and recent graduates, network with fellow exhibitors within your industry, meet UWL academic staff and attend industry-themed talks.

  • Be a guest employer at our bespoke on campus and virtual employment initiatives

    UWL offers a range of tailored activities for employers who wish to host industry talks and promote their recruitment drives aimed at students and graduates.

    You can join as a Guest Employer at one of the following employment initiatives:

    • Our bespoke in-class or virtual presentations aimed at specific course disciplines and industries.
    • Our 'Future YouDiversity Matters Programme' aimed to improve employment accessibility and social mobility for identified student progression groups.
    • Join one of our ‘Employer Takeover Sessions’ held once a month on Friday from 1pm - 1:30pm. Present and provide insight into your industry, promote your opportunities and share employability advice.
