Body
The results of the National Student Survey (NSS) have been published today and, excitingly, UWL has been ranked No. 1 in the UK for Student Satisfaction*, for Student Voice and for Academic Support** and is in the top 10 for all NSS themes in England.
UWL is delighted too that it received an overall satisfaction score of 84.5% from students, and 82.6% on the average of all questions. This is an outstanding result that everyone at the University is very proud of.
Commenting on the announcement UWL Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter John CBE said
We are really pleased with this news today. Our consistently excellent results in the NSS are driven by an unrelenting focus on delivering the best possible experience for our students, who are at the heart of everything we do and will continue to be so in our mission to deliver life-enhancing, transformative change through education for as many people as possible."
Maisie Kelly, SU President said:
The SU has worked in partnership with UWL to deliver the best possible experience for our students, including opportunities to connect to their learning community, to develop new skills and to look after their wellbeing - despite the challenges of the pandemic. We are really proud that our members feel that they have received an outstanding student experience, and this is reflected in the NSS results.”
The NSS gives millions of students across the UK the chance to share their views on their student experience. It looks for feedback on everything from the quality of teaching to resources and equipment. Find out more about the NSS on the Office for Students website.
