UWL is announced as academic partner for aviation charity Aerobility

The University of West London has been announced as an academic partner for UK aviation charity Aerobility’s Equal Skies initiative. This project aims to create a dedicated charter to improve disabled people’s access to aviation and increase both engagement and representation in the aerospace sector.
Main body
UWL Senior Lecturer in Aviation Management Kanchana Gamage, who is also one of 13 Aviation Ambassadors for the UK Department for Transport, will be taking part in regular meetings to support the development and implementation of the charter.
Supported by the Department of Transport, partners on the project so far also include the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), UK air traffic management provider NATS, Biggin Hill Airport, Bristow and 2Excel Group.
