  • What should I do if my country is not listed?

If your country is not listed below please submit an application to your chosen course with copies of your qualifications or get in touch with the International Recruitment team for further information.

  • International Baccalaureate students

Students studying International Baccalaureate (IB) subjects as part of the IB Diploma programme (IBDP) are normally required to complete the full diploma to be considered for level 4 entry.

Students who are not following the full IBDP can be considered with stand-alone IB Higher Level Certificates, either on their own or combined with other qualifications. We accept an IB Higher Level Certificate as equal to one A level with equivalent grades:

    • 7 = A* (56 UCAS points)
    • 6 = A (48 UCAS points)
    • 5 = C (32 UCAS points)
    • 4 = D (24 UCAS points)

A minimum of x2 IB Higher Level Certificates are required, which can be supplemented by additional IB Standard Level Certificates, in different subjects.

IB Higher Level Certificates will need to include any essential subjects, if required by the course.

Students can be considered on a case by case basis for foundation years on the basis of IB Standard Level Certificates.
