Our student profile data is for the academic year 2019 - 2020 and includes all Higher Education (HE) provision. Measures are provided for FTE and enrolments. The enrolments statistics are calculated by the number of students registered onto a course, if a student is registered simultaneously on an undergraduate course and on another course they would be counted twice in the enrolments column. The FTE (Full Time Equivalent) for a part-time course is calculated by comparison with an equivalent full-time course.
Our attainment data
Our attainment data is provided by the Office for Students and shows:
- The number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or
- A particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.
Attainment is broken down by reference to the gender of the individuals to which they relate, their ethnicity and their socio-economic background.

Notes on the data
- Numerators and denominators have been rounded to the nearest 10. Where the numerator or denominator rounds to 20 or less, the data are suppressed with an "N".
- "N/A" is displayed where there is no provision in a given mode or level.
- "DP" indicates suppression for data protection reasons. This is applied where the numerator is two or less, or differs from the denominator by no more than two students.
Our student support
Our Student Hub enables students to book appointments with dedicated advisers online at a time that is right for them. Within our student counselling service, a new model of delivery has been introduced to provide students with a bespoke service that is appropriate for their needs.
These two developments have enabled the University to offer same-day counselling appointments whilst meeting a 19% increase in demand.

Our leadership team was recognised as an 'Outstanding Leadership and Management Team' at THE Leadership and Management Awards 2017.
