Workscan
Introduction to Workscan
Workscan is an AI-powered industrial placement portal that helps students find placements and internships using automation. We employ the latest machine learning technology to provide students with pre-selected industrial placements that are tailored to their skills and interests whilst allowing educational bodies to safeguard the process.

How Workscan can help
Workscan is turning the job placement economy on its head, saving and generating billions of pounds by helping businesses post-placement jobs fast and helping students find a job placement just as quickly whilst allowing the educational body to administer the process. All happening right from the web application provided from anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection.
Workscan is creating a dedicated platform for placement and job-seeking students with only businesses, educational bodies, students and advertisers on the platform. The entire process will be under the strict supervision of the educational body, from hiring and firing to on-the-job performance and feedback. Both students and businesses are able to leave feedback for each other, which is visible to everyone on the platform.
Job placements are in one place, therefore, businesses, educational bodies, and students are able to track and manage them accordingly. Student data is available within the Workscan platform; therefore, businesses are able to see the academic progress of each student. Since many students do not have prior working experience, they will be able to build their initial skills using Workscan and that will help them get their foot through the door.
Testimonial
Workscan was born from the halls of UWL and comes from my own and other student's experience with the currently outdated technology and methodology used for placements. Myself and over 150 other students struggled to find placements and found the whole process very daunting. That's when Workscan was born! Having the backing of Westmont Hub and The University of West London has made the whole business starting process a lot easier. The atmosphere and support from the team at the Hub as well as its members are second to none."
