Using LibSearch

Green background with white text. Top left includes UWL logo. Bottom right displays a illustration of a human holding a lightbulb. Title is LibSearch - finding books and e-books.

Refine your search

The search function has a range of features. Using the ‘All Filters’ option you can choose to narrow down your results by:

  • Source type such as books, e-books, academic journals
  • Full text online
  • Date range
  • Language
  • Location (for physical resources)

Each result includes details such as author, title, publication date and availability. You can see more information by clicking on the title.

Save, cite and share

Once you have found the resources you need, you can click on the save icon to the right of the title details to save them to a temporary folder. You will need to be logged into LibSearch with your UWL ID and password to see this.

You can export them into RefWorks or keep them permanently in LibSearch by adding them to a project. To use the projects option, you will need to create an account in LibSearch. This will be a My EBSCO account.
