intro

We are a research group in pure and applied mathematics. We also take part in multi-disciplinary research both across the School of Computing and Engineering and with collaborators in the UK and abroad.

Our core research areas within mathematics are differential geometry, non-linear dynamics and chaos, stochastic differential equations and modelling. In addition, we are engaging in research activities in electrical, civil and biomedical engineering and are closely affiliated with The Faringdon Research Centre for Non-Destructive Testing and Remote Sensing.

We always welcome suggestions for collaborations if you believe that our expertise could be of relevance to you. If you are thinking of pursuing a research degree in mathematics or applied mathematics as part of our team, please find out more by following the link below.
