UWL cements national success in Guardian rankings

Introduction

Celebrating another year of incredible success, the University of West London (UWL)’s degree courses have once again been rated as some of the best in London and the UK in this year’s Guardian University Guide.

As well we being ranked 35th university in the UK for overall score in the Guardian University Guide 2022, UWL was ranked as fifth modern university nationally for overall score – setting it firmly among the best performing higher education institutions.

And recognising excellent teaching and learning, scores place UWL it as first in London for satisfaction with teaching, third in London for course satisfaction and top in England for satisfaction with assessment and feedback.

UWL was also rated top modern university in London for overall score in five subject areas - Media and Film Studies, Music, Psychology, Business, Management and Marketing, and Civil Engineering.

These rankings not only confirm the success of that work, but cements our place as an institution of real excellence as we continue to provide some of the best training in London, and across the UK across a whole host of subject areas.
