UWL library services secure prestigious award

Introduction

Library Services at the University of West London (UWL) has once again secured a prestigious Customer Service Excellence Accreditation, demonstrating that the UWL Library is so much more than what might be expected from a library.

The award highlights the outstanding experience the UWL Library provides for students that goes beyond what many other universities offer.

Julian Roland, Head of Customer Experience at UWL Library Services, said:

Online and in person, we are committed to provide the best possible customer service and expert advice so that UWL students can get the most from their university experience.

Our library has been designed to allow students to study in a way that suits them, whether that be in groups, in quiet rooms or in a more social environment. All our on-site services are also supported by a range of interactive online services that operate 24 hours a day. And of course, we have an impressive book collection.

The success follows an investment of more than £150m that has created an inspiring learning environment for students, including the opening of the Paul Hamlyn library in Ealing and the Berkshire Institute for Health library in Reading.
