Intro

The Signal Processing, Electronics, Automation and Robotics (SPEAR) group is an interdisciplinary research group within the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of West London. Founded in 2022, the SPEAR group aims to be a key hub for innovation on signal processing, electronics and robotics, fostering collaborations between researchers, students and faculty focusing on theoretical research as well as applications in sensing, perception, control and automation.

The SPEAR group aims to bring together people from a wide range of disciplines, eg Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Civil, Biomedical, Computer and Software Engineering, both within the UK and abroad. Our interdisciplinary approach promotes connections with academia, industry and government and seeks to deliver solutions to fundamental as well as real-world problems.

We are committed to a diverse, inclusive and collaborative environment that treats all its members and partners equally.
