Andrea Miller has produced numerous arts documentaries such as Grierson winner David Hockney’s Secret Knowledge; Sir Richard Eyre’s Changing Stages for BBC and PBS Network; Peter Ackroyd’s Dicken; Van Gogh: Painted in Words with Benedict and The Strange Case of Arthur Conan Doyle starring Douglas Henshall and Emily Blunt.
As Head of Factual at BBC Scotland she led a team of 200 delivering 120 hours of science, documentary, and arts programming per year, output which won awards including from RTS, Grierson, Banff Film Festival, and an International Emmy.
In 2012, based in New York, she produced Columbia Business School’s popular online course, Personal Leadership. She joined MetFilm School to lead their Documentary team and in 2020/21 headed the School’s BA Practical Filmmaking devising and delivering blended learning to an international cohort.
A graduate of London Business School’s Executive MBA Andrea co-founded an independent production company, winning peak time factual series. She recently produced and directed her first short film using cutting edge virtual production techniques.
