Claire Clark
I am a retired senior Metropolitan police officer. I ran the public order planning and resourcing department with responsibility for over 4,500 events a year, from Trooping the Colour to Notting Hill Carnival, from football and other sporting events to protests. I have been a Senior Investigating Officer and held a Senior Responsible Officer role for Anti-Government Protest. I have also worked in specialist firearms protection roles.

Teaching
I have taught recruit police officers on the degree apprenticeship and senior police leaders across all policing subjects. My specialist areas of interest are leadership and management and public order and public safety. I have taught classes across other departments at UWL where there has been a cross over with policing.
