Fatemeh is the Administrator for the Geller Institute of Ageing and Memory (GIAM), where she plays a role in ensuring efficient operations of the institute. She provides comprehensive administrative support in different areas such as finance, human resources, and facilities management. Her responsibilities include liaising with internal departments, overseeing procurement and financial processes, and managing staff-related administrative tasks such as onboarding new staff members.

Prior to this role, Fatemeh worked as a Customer Experience Assistant at the University of West London, where she supported students, staff, and external library members in accessing and utilizing the university’s library services. Her responsibilities included resolving IT-related inquiries, facilitating access to library databases, and guiding users in navigating the library’s online resources.

Fatemeh holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of West London, where she investigated different fields such as Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Her research explored the impact of image quality on the predictive performance of the U-Net model for echocardiography image segmentation, focusing on improving outcomes in medical imaging. She also investigated the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and computational linguistics.

She also completed her BA in English Language and Linguistics, where she delved into linguistic theories such as universal and generative grammar. Her research bridged the fields of AI and linguistics, investigating the similarities and interplay between natural language acquisition and natural language processing.
