Originally from Stirling, Scotland, Gillian trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
Theatre credits include: Miss Statchell in The Invisible Man (Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne), Miss Hedge in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (West End and Los Angeles), understudy Donna and Tanya in Mamma Mia! (UK Tour), Cinderella in Cinderella (The Kings, Glasgow), Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life, Peggy Macroon in Whisky Galore, Jenny in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Lady Sybil in What Every Woman Knows and Sarah in Ane Servant o' Twa Maisters (all for Pitlochry Festival Theatre); understudy Maria in The Sound of Music (West End), Sorel Bliss in Hay Fever (UK Tour); Woman 1 in Songs for a New World (Judi Dench Theatre) and Princess Apricot in Jack and the Beanstalk (The Kings, Edinburgh).
Film/Television includes: Yo! Diary! (BBC 1, The Comedy Unit) and The Honeymoon (FilmFour).
