Dr Marcus Nicholls
An interdisciplinary approach to research and teaching means that I teach across the Film, Media and English courses at UWL. My PhD looked at concepts from adaptation studies in relation to Decadent literature and the writing of J.-K. Huysmans. However, since then my work has branched out into diverse explorations of intertextual decay and mysticism, hauntology, the EcoGothic, ageing in horror films and practice-based approaches to research.
