Mark has over 35 years experience in all aspects of the property development, large capital projects and portfolio management arenas and has held senior positions and property director roles working on large scale development programmes for Dixons Stores Group, Forte plc, Woolworth's, B&Q and Tesco - both in the UK and internationally in China and Russia.

From 2007, Mark has focussed on the heath sector and held Executive Director roles at Circle Health, with the business becoming the largest partnership of healthcare professionals in Europe and as Trust Board Director at Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust where he led significant redevelopment plans.

In April 2013, Mark founded his own advisory company, which provides strategic leadership, support and advice to NHS Trust Boards around the UK on large scale developments between £80m and £650m in value.

Mark has been a UWL Governor since 2014 and is Chair of the Finance Committee.

He is also a Board Trustee of the national deaf blind and complex disabilities charity Sense and sits on the Finance & Audit Committee and Trading Board.

Mark trained and is qualified as a building surveyor and also completed post graduate studies in strategic retailing at Oxford University.

In his formative years, he was also a member of the armed forces for over ten years, primarily in infantry training roles, with his final role being a Reserve Commissioned Officer with the RAF.
