Michael Toolan

Michael Toolan is an American musical director, accompanist and conductor. He is is the director of musical theatre bands, conducting and musical director at London College of Music and a vocal tutor/musical director at Silvia Young Theatre School, London. 

Michael is a guest artist/conductor of Nuovi Orientamenti Musical Entertainment Academy in Sicily. He has worked with West End actors across the city and has taught musical theatre workshops across the U.S. and the UK and Europe. He worked as a music assistant for the 2022 West End Cast Change of Les Misérables. Prior to these appointments in the UK, Mike was the music director of SALT Performing Arts, where he worked on 20 productions from 2018-2021. He is still an active guest conductor and musical director at SALT Performing Arts.
