Dr Nasrullah Khilji
Dr Nasrullah Khilji has extensive expertise and substantial experience in organisational strategies and systems, project and operations management, knowledge management, management information system, digital technologies and innovation, international business management, team dynamics and leadership and strategic portfolio management in a variety of settings both in UK and from abroad.
Dr Khilji is currently working at the School of Computing and Engineering, University of West London as an Associate Professor in Applied Project Management and to lead the portfolio of academic partnerships (UK and TNE), to direct the higher degree apprenticeship programme, the MSc in Digital Technology Solutions Specialists and to chair the research group for Information Systems and Knowledge Management (ISKM). Dr Khilji is connected to work as an academic reviewer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ‘MIT Press’, USA, and the Cambridge University Press, as well as an academic reviewer for the Ministry of Higher Education in the Sultanate of Oman. He serves the St Ann’s School Governors Board in the capacity of the Co-opted Governor in the Ealing, London. He is an active researcher in his expert research area to continuously contribute and publish in prominent international journals, publications, conferences and currently he is working on a book in the ‘Domain Applications of Project Management’. Over the years, he has supervised numerous undergraduate and Postgraduate dissertations, though he is actively engaged in mentoring, supervising and examining doctoral research.
He has served previously as a senior lecturer, honorary professor, course leader and module coordinator in project management, digital business management and strategic technology management at the University of Bedfordshire, Dublin Institute of Technology, CMDC-Cranfield University and Thames Valley University (now UWL). In international collaboration, he has served as a senior academic to coordinate the MBA programme at the Nations School of Business and Management in Guyana and Oman. Dr Khilji has successfully directed various international UG and PG courses in academic partnership in Malta, Jordan and Bangladesh.
He was designated to join the caretaker cabinet as a minister for Education, Science and Information Technology in the Interim Cabinet, Government of Baluchistan, Pakistan in 2018. Previously, he initiated the PEARL Institute of Management and Information Technology, Quetta academic setup in 1999 to promote modern management and IT higher and vocational education, which is continuously imparting technical and professional education in Quetta, Pakistan.
