Patrick Fuller has over 20 years of corporate financial experience. He is a chartered accountant and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting.
Patrick trained and held supervisory positions at Nash Broad Chartered Accountants and Burton Group before moving to HSBC where he took on senior management roles. He then moved to Infratest Burke, one of the leading market research organisations. As Group Financial Controller and then Group Chief Accountant he was the finance lead in the highly successful acquisition of two UK market research agencies and the merger with a US-based market research organisation. In 2012 the Finance department won the prestigious University sector Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2012: Outstanding Finance Team Award.
Prior to joining the University of West London in 2011, Patrick Fuller was Head of Finance and Procurement at the Learning Trust in Hackney, as well as Director and Company Secretary of the Kench Hill charity, which administers the Kench Hill Education Centre in Kent for the benefit of Hackney students. In 2010 the Learning Trust Finance team won the Hackney Educators Awards Team of the Year 2009/10. Patrick Fuller was also a Director of a small local medical charity.
In 2008 he obtained a Diploma in Charity Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
He is currently a member of the Charity Finance Directors group and a member of the Institute of Directors.
