Santy was born in Syracuse, Italy. Here he discovered his passion for the classical guitar and started studying, studying and studying. At only 19 years he was awarded got his diploma at the Conservatorium of Pescara with the highest appreciation "cum laude" of the jury. He regularly participated in master classes to further develop his techniques with well-known guitarists such as David Russell. Then he decided to criss-cross Europe for performing and giving master classes. He finally settled down in Germany where he lived for 10 years. Here he built up the MUSIKKUNSTSCHULE offering music courses, concerts and art events.
He attended postgraduate studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar with Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering. He recorded his first CD "Viaggio Latino" containing his own compositions which were also published by Trekel Hamburg. Two years later, he recorded a second CD dedicated to J. S. Bach and D. Scarlatti called "Anno 1685". Giuseppe Torrisi has dedicated some compositions and transcriptions for classical guitar to him.
