Dr Sharon Vince

Having worked as a primary school teacher for 15 years, predominantly working with children aged 3 to 7 years, Sharon made the transition to teaching in higher education following completion of her Masters degree and PhD, both at UCL’s IOE. Sharon has worked at the University of West London since 2021 and leads modules from Level 3 to Level 6 across the Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies programmes. Her interests include education and early years policy and its impact upon practice, inequalities in education and the role of policy in this and practitioner identity.
