Studied piano with Cyril Smith at the Royal College of Music, gaining the ARCM diploma and achieving second place in the Hastings Concerto Competition with Rachmaninov's 4th. He later studied at the LCM gaining the Masters Degree with Distinction and the Postgraduate prize.
He also trained as an Alexander Technique teacher and have run many courses on its application to musical performance. Many years teaching experience - current teaching posts also include Morley College and the Alexander Technique Studio. Solo recitals include Royal Holloway College, Goldsmiths College and Leighton House.
