Final Year Mentoring

body

Need advice on your dissertation? Want to know how to break into your chosen field? Looking for guidance on what to do next? University of West London graduates have a wealth of experience they can offer you!

These are past students who are volunteering as Mentors to help guide you through the trials and triumphs of your final year. They can provide an insight into life after graduation and offer guidance for your next steps.

Level Six Student Kelly Johnson recently took part in the Final Year Mentoring Scheme. She had this to say about her experience:

Being paired with a UWL graduate in my chosen field gave me valuable insights and mentorship for my final year. I found it really beneficial to talk through my future plans and aspirations and my Mentor really helped me to narrow down my options for after I finished my degree. I also found that it was really interesting and motivational to hear about my Mentor's own career journey, as I didn't know anyone else in the profession before being paired with her. I would definitely recommend becoming a Mentee to take advantage of this great opportunity!”
