Careers support
Your career
Supporting your success
As a university, we care about your studies and your future, which means that we do all we can to support you in getting the career you want. Throughout your course we can provide essential academic support, useful careers guidance and jobs advice when you feel that you need it.
Help with your studies
Help with your studies
As well as offering academic drop-ins which give you the opportunity to speak to someone about your work on a one-to-one basis, we also run skills workshops to help with your essay planning and to improve your note-taking. There is also a Peer Mentoring Scheme which allows you to team up with a student who has already done a year of study on a similar course.
Quote
I think it’s so good that we are pushed into getting experience in our second year of the course, because it makes you focus on an actual future career and not only just on finishing the course, also it helps you gain important contacts for after university.

Work placements
Some of our courses come with in-built placements, internships and designated officers to help you. These options turn three-year long degrees into four but that will give you the advantage of gaining experience in a working environment. Our West London location also means that we have many businesses on our doorstep, so we can secure placements in a wide number of industries.
Get to know future employers
Meet the employers
Our on-campus careers and employability fairs are run throughout the year and are designed to help you network with potential employers, all in one place. So far, these have included companies such as Sky UK, NHS, BAE Systems and Cancer Research UK who have all attended in search of the brightest, new talent.
