The session aims to answer the following:

  • What to do if you are unable to make a deadline?
  • What does a mitigation and extension mean?
  • What is a mitigating circumstance and how can I prove it?
  • What is a self-certification?
  • What does Academic offences Panel mean and how can you prepare for it?
  • As well as a free opportunity for questions and answers with our Advisors!

This workshop aims to: Provide an understanding of what plagiarism is and why it needs to be avoided Provide techniques for paraphrasing and summarising by focusing on a step-by-step approach. Provide opportunities to practice the techniques discussed.
