How your feedback helps us make a difference

How your feedback helps us make a difference

When you speak, we listen and make changes that improve the student experience for everyone at UWL – it's why we are regularly rated as one of the best universities in the UK for student experience.

Completing the Module Evaluation Survey is the easiest way to provide your feedback to us and has led to some pretty big changes, including increased engagement with employers, more social spaces and improved online resources.

But your feedback can also help to improve the smaller things too – here are three ways your feedback has improved the student experience in recent weeks:

1. Suitable time slots

Students on a particular course told us that they found later class times difficult. We worked in partnership with the Students’ Union to find more suitable time slots.

2. Open access to labs

Students told us they had difficulty accessing labs. We worked with the Students’ Union to organise open access to labs at set times.

3. Adapted assessment deadlines

Students told us they were struggling with assessment deadlines. We worked with the Students’ Union to look at how we could adapt deadlines to better fit around other University activity.

Sara Raybould, Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience, said:

Our approach to delivering the best student experience is simple, but it works. We ask you for your feedback and then we use all your comments and opinions to make changes to the things that matter to you.

Remember to give your feedback via the Module Evaluation Survey from November 29.
