Commenting on her team’s nomination, Director of Apprenticeships Janet Rowson said:

We are delighted with the nomination and to be able to share the inspiring story of how UWL’s Degree Apprenticeship Service has developed.

We have been working steadily with many west London businesses over the years, who have been very supportive in engaging with us. They have seen the benefits to their businesses and UWL has also been enriched by their contribution. I look forward to more of these partnerships.”

Fresh Minds for Business Client Experience Coordinator Angela Warwick added that everyone at the Claude Littner Business School is thrilled that its student-led consultancy programme has been shortlisted for the Best Business Support & Advice/Service Company category.

Through this programme, businesses work with our talented students to gain new ideas for growth and competitiveness, while supporting our students’ professional development by providing high-quality consulting experience. We would like to thank all the businesses and organisations that support Fresh Minds and ensure its continued success,”

she said.

Head of Placement and Employment Services Huda Ismail, who leads the Graduate Intern Scheme nominated alongside Fresh Minds, added that the shortlisting is a great way to celebrate her team’s support for both local business and UWL graduates.

The External Graduate Internship Programme offering is now in its third year, and we have continued to expand internships year-on-year in the West London region. This is just one of the many initiatives we have for businesses to support growth and graduate talent. We look forward to continuing to grow our partnerships,”

she said.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which takes place on 23 November 2023. Good luck!
