UWL maintains first class ranking in the People & Planet university league table

The University of West London has been given a first class ranking (13th place overall, climbing from 17th in 2022/23) by the People & Planet student campaigning network in their University League 2023/24 for environmental efforts including carbon reduction and food sustainability.

The University is in the top five sustainable universities in London, the top 10 of modern* universities, the top 10 of modern* universities for carbon reduction and the top 10 of universities for sustainable food.

People & Planet’s University League is the only comprehensive and independent league table of UK universities ranked by environmental and ethical performance. It is compiled annually by the UK’s largest student campaigning network, People & Planet.
