Xhulja is currently working full-time as an Assistant Accountant at Zaj Associates and simultaneously working towards her final ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exams. In her spare time, she volunteers at Mind UK and British Heart Foundation, tutors English for Albanian asylum seekers and runs 5K events for Cancer Research’s 'Race for Life' campaign.

Xhulja’s award is testament to her own hard work and perseverance, as well as to the efforts of our excellent team of Accountancy tutors in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience for our students and mentoring them towards career success,”

says Dr Dinusha Weerawardane, Head of Accounting and Finance at UWL.

Having secured the title of ‘Public Sector Accountancy College of the Year’ at the PQ Awards in 2021, as well as having students named as ‘Accountancy Graduate of the Year’ in 2022 and 2023 further strengthens our position as one of UK’s leading providers in accountancy education.”

The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course at CLBS is a professional body-accredited programme. All successful UWL graduates are entitled to nine exemptions in ACCA (the highest level of exemptions granted by the professional body).
