Opportunities: Volunteering with the Met Police

I started Volunteering with the Met Police when we were in the first lockdown back in May of 2020, and they helped me gain a sense of belonging while living in unusual times which was difficult for many people.

My volunteering with the Met Police has been very pleasant, I have met some very kind and knowledgeable Police Officers and some great fellow volunteers along the way. I continue volunteering to this day as it helps communities around London feel safer knowing there are Police and Volunteers doing numerous crime prevention activities such as Community awareness patrols, informing locals of crimes that occur in that area and what to watch out for.
