About project management

The University of West London is an Association for Project Management (APM) Accredited Centre. 

We offer two professional APM accredited courses:

The Project Fundamentals Qualification provides you with an excellent grounding in project management, while the Project Management Qualification leads to a professionally recognised award.

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)

The PFQ is an introductory project management qualification certificate giving you an excellent understanding of project management and core fundamentals of how projects work in organisations. 

This course provides a great foundation for the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ).

APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

The PMQ will provide you with an in-depth understanding of project management and how to manage projects successfully, together with an intensive optimal learning experience.

Successful completion of the APM PMQ leads to an award by the UK chartered professional body for project management practitioners and is an internationally recognised qualification. It is also aligned to the SCQF (Level 7).

APM examination terms & conditions

Please note that APM have strict terms & conditions that apply to the cancellation of the examination once registered. These can be viewed on their website. Apart from cancellation or deferral on medical grounds (with evidence), no other grounds are acceptable and full charges apply.
