- Remember, UK CVs can look different to a CV or a resume you have created in your home country.
- To gain part-time UK work experience and volunteering opportunities, update your CV.
- Make improvements to your CV by using CareerSet.
- When you have made the changes, book an appointment for tailored feedback from your school career consultant.

Create or enhance your online professional profile and network
- Attend and meet professionals. Start by attending the Autumn fair on part time jobs. You can find all job fairs on campus and book your place by visiting the Student Hub.
- Create or enhance your online LinkedIn professional network to help you connect with employers you meet at career fairs, and to look for internships or graduate jobs.
- Don’t have a LinkedIn profile yet? Use TargetJobs to develop your professional profile.
Digital resources
- Do you have an interview lined up? Use Shortlist.me to start preparing.
- Book an appointment via the Student Hub as a follow-up to rehearse with your school career consultant.
- Need to practice psychometric tests? Access Graduate First to prepare and practice.
- If you’re on campus, come along to the information hub at the SMR (Ealing) site to find your resources quicker!

- Drop-Ins: a quick and immediate face-to-face 15-minute support drop-in, providing information and general advice.
- Career appointments: 30 minutes to 1 hour one-to-one, online or face-to-face booked meetings with your school careers consultant for help with CVs, cover letters, applications and anything careers related.
