UWL supporting strong futures with degree apprenticeships
The University of West London (UWL) is transforming more futures than ever with its leading degree apprenticeships - providing specialist training and support for people to upskill even during the uncertainty of the pandemic.
The University offers more than 20 degree apprenticeship standards at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, helping people gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers in all areas of healthcare, built environment, business, computing, and engineering.
UWL has nearly 1,000 apprentices working with over 160 employers – everyone from global players such as Sega, BP, and Unilever, to NHS Trusts in the region, and small to medium enterprises across London and beyond.
Degree apprenticeships at the University – which offer people a chance to study for a degree qualification while they work and funded through employers – are helping upskill more people than ever as new training is added to meet demand and keep up with a fast-moving workforce.
Janet Rowson, Head of Degree Apprenticeships at UWL said:
We have an impressive apprenticeship offering here at UWL, which is continuously growing as we work with more employers and deliver more training.
We want to help secure a strong future for businesses, and help people get ahead in their careers. By offering degree-level training in highly relevant knowledge areas, we are doing just that."
