UWL's Engineering Future Sustainability open access journal – amplify your research impact
Intro
The University of West London) launched its open access journal, Engineering Future Sustainability, earlier this year to champion research at the intersection of engineering and sustainable development.
Article body
Editor-in-Chief Professor Ali Bahadori-Jahromi, of UWL’s School of Computing and Engineering, explains that the journal aims to promote sustainable energy and resource utilisation.
Engineering Future Sustainability provides a forward-thinking platform for exploring sustainable methodologies and spotlighting engineering endeavours that balance present necessities with future sustainability.
The journal's experienced editorial board, comprising 20 academics and experts from the UK and beyond, rigorously reviews submissions. After passing a stringent peer-review process, papers are published online, in line with the Research Excellence Framework (REF) mandate for public accessibility.
Professor Bahadori-Jahromi says:
I am delighted by the diverse research contributions received so far, including from a UWL Engineering student, and I am keen to encourage submissions from researchers and PhD candidates on sustainability and climate change.
The steady stream of submissions indicates the journal's growing appeal. For those looking to contribute to sustainability discussions and attain recognition, Engineering Future Sustainability is a pivotal platform. The editorial team is devoted to propelling the sustainability dialogue in engineering, setting the stage for substantial policy and practice alterations.”
