I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Ghana and Japan respectively. In 2012, I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham, UK.

I began my UK teaching journey with the University of Nottingham as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for three years and substantive lecturer for a year (at the business school). I later joined Durham University for six years, where l led, designed and delivered many modules. I also served as an academic adviser to undergraduate and postgraduate students. As a Senior Lecturer at UWL, I instruct and teach mainly quantitative modules at both UG and PG levels.

I have supervised over 2,000 undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

I have consulted for and on behalf of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in different capacities. I have also worked as a Research Intern for the Food and Agricultural Organisation in Yokohama, Japan.

Teaching

I have twelve years of proven teaching experience in UK higher education, with most years at Russell Group Universities. I have a passion to instruct and deliver constructive and collaborative academic direction to help develop learners. This is supported by providing tailored and empathetic pastoral care.
