Sustainability governance
In response to the pressing global challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, UWL has implemented a sustainability governance framework. By taking proactive steps towards environmental stewardship, we aim to foster a greener future for our institution and the wider community. This sustainability governance framework will guide our policies, practices, and initiatives, enabling us to embrace sustainable practices, reduce our carbon emissions, and inspire positive change.
At the core of our sustainability governance is the establishment of a dedicated Sustainability Management Board (SMB) and Environmental Operations Group (EOG).
