Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses
Introduction
What is a CPD course?
As a healthcare professional you are required by the professional bodies (NMC/HCPC) to continue to maintain your knowledge and skills through continuing professional development (CPDs).
Our CPD courses offer working professionals, based in London, Reading as well as at various other locations, the opportunity to develop and enhance their personal and professional skills. The courses are flexible, running throughout the academic year, enabling you to fit study around your work and home life commitments.
Are CPD courses recognised and accredited?
A large majority of our courses enable you to ‘build your own qualification’, allowing you to choose credit-bearing modules, leading to a BSc, PgCert, PgDip or an MSc qualification. Our qualifications are both recognised and valued by employers.
Why are CPDs important for nurses and healthcare workers?
Our CPD courses have been developed in conjunction with our NHS partners and are designed to enable you to work effectively in changing healthcare services as well as assist you in fulfilling your career aspirations.
