Monika is studying for a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design (Visual Communication and Illustration) at UWL’s London School of Film, Media and Design (LSFMD).
Monika said:
The induction has been a great help to settle into the University and the course. From the UWL staff, UWLSU and student ambassadors guiding us smoothly through the whole process to library and IT services, I found the thoughtfully planned induction programme extremely helpful in providing me with all the details I needed to start my course.
The welcome talk from Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience) Sara Raybould gave insight into everything UWL has to offer, from study support and well-being to the Students' Union and work opportunities.
The highlight of induction for me was the course welcome and meeting the course leader, the lecturers, and other students. I am excited about what this new chapter will bring!”
