Masters apprenticeships starting in January
Introduction
Working professionals can begin the new year with a new goal with a UWL masters apprenticeship.
Applicants don’t have to wait until September to sharpen their skills or expand their experiences. The University of West London offers masters level degree apprenticeships starting in January 2021 in three areas:
- MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist - Data Analytics
- MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist - Cyber Security
- Senior Leader / MBA

Digital leaders of the future
Our MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist degree apprenticeship supports your employees to develop and implement complex digital and technology strategies. This apprenticeship course will enhance your employees’ understanding of key topics in business, technology, project, change and people management and enable them to consider these issues within the workplace.
We offer this MSc with two specialisms: Data Analytics and Cyber Security.
Business leaders of the future
The Senior Leader/MBA apprenticeship is aimed at converting effective operational managers into strategic managers. The apprenticeship provides a broad foundation of management and business discipline that is strategic and integrated in nature.
The added value of this apprenticeship is that it helps develop areas of expertise: through critical inquiry into sector-of-choice analysis, which leads to a consultancy-level MBA project. The UWL Senior Leader apprenticeship continues to offer all candidates a Masters in Business Administration as part of our offer.
Additional government support during the economic recovery
The government’s plan to kickstart the nation’s economic recovery includes an incentive payment for employers who hire an apprentice between 1 August 2020 and 31 January 2021.
For apprentices aged 16-24 the payment will be £2,000, and for apprentices aged 25 or over the payment will be £1,500.
