Students’ enthusiasm and support for the celebrations was overwhelming. They dressed up in their national and cultural costumes, played and danced to traditional music, and discussed and celebrated diverse cultural festivals and traditions.

Student Suman Acharya was thankful for the wonderful events:

Diwali is a significant part of our culture, and we miss our families and home especially during festival time as a student living abroad. By organising these memorable parties, we really felt at home and were able to celebrate with students from other nations with different cultures. I hope we have many chances to rejoice in the future.”

Course Leader Vytas Vaiksnoras said,

It was great to see such a passionate effort coming from the students. Supporting students in organising these celebrations was joyful. It taught all participants the richness of cultural diversity on the course and allowed students to practise collaborative work and event organisation that certainly enhanced their learning experience in the most effortless way.”
