On Tuesday 1 October, hundreds of students came to the Students’ Union’s Freshers’ Fair to meet student groups, support services and external partners – and took away loads of freebies!

Students lead guided tours of Ealing site for Open House Festival 2024

As part of Open House Festival 2024, the University of West London offered free guided tours of its Ealing site, led by some of our current students, allowing members of the public to discover more about the University’s rich history through exploration of the archives and libraries, and how its facilities have been transformed and renovated in recent years.

UWL PhD student wins Platinum Prize and Special Award at the Saint-Saëns International Music Competition

Arin Aykut, who is pursuing a PhD in Film Music Composition at the London College of Music (LCM) at the University of West London, after completing an MMus in Composition for Film and Television, has won a Platinum Prize and a Special Award in the Saint-Saëns International Music Competition.
