In the "Outstanding Wellbeing Support for Students in London" category, UWL was shortlisted for developing accessible counselling sessions for neurodiverse students with specially trained staff. The initiative offered innovative session designs and had a noticeable impact on wellbeing for neurodiverse students.

The University has also been shortlisted in the "Outstanding Contribution to Student Employability" category, for launching its Graduate Employability Soft Skills programme. This scheme provided a tailored 24-week programme of support to graduates to build confidence in their ability to achieve their career aspirations.

Finally, UWL’s College of Nursing Midwifery and Healthcare (CNMH) is included in the "Healthcare Partnership of the Year" category. It has been selected for collaborating with five other university partners in a Peer Enhanced e-Placement (PEeP). The project, funded by NHS England, positively impacted placement capacity and enhanced mental health for clinical staff and students.

Professor Anthony Woodman, Provost and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at UWL said,

I am delighted that the University of West London has been selected in three distinctive categories. This demonstrates that UWL is committed to supporting good mental and emotional health of their students, building student career prospects and excelling in partnering with other institutions."
